What does Romans 6:3 mean?
When you're baptized as a Christian, you're not just getting wet in a religious ceremony. You're making a profound statement that you're joining yourself to Christ's death, his burial, and ultimately his resurrection. Paul is asking the Roman believers (and us) to grasp what baptism actually means: that we've died to our old way of living and are now bound to Christ in the most intimate way possible.
