What does Romans 4:25 mean?

Jesus was handed over to death because of our sins, but his resurrection proved that those sins could be fully forgiven and we could be made right with God. Paul is saying that Christ's death dealt with our guilt, while his rising from the dead secured our actual restoration and freedom from condemnation. It's the complete picture of rescue: the cross addresses what we've done wrong, and the resurrection opens the door to being genuinely transformed and accepted by God, not just forgiven but actually justified before him.
