What does Romans 3:16 mean?

Paul is describing what happens when people live without regard for God or others, using language borrowed from the Old Testament. He's not saying destruction magically appears, but rather that when we abandon compassion and integrity, we create pain and wreckage in our own lives and in the lives around us. Whether it's broken relationships, shattered trust, or communities torn apart by violence and selfishness, the path of ignoring God's design leads to real suffering. This verse invites us to notice the consequences of our choices and consider a better way forward.
