Romans 3:14

What does Romans 3:14 mean?
This verse describes people whose words flow with anger, resentment, and harmful speech. Paul is quoting from the Psalms to show that broken relationships with God naturally lead to broken communication with others, through insults and bitter language that wounds those around us. The hardest part of this image is recognizing ourselves in it sometimes, especially when we're hurt or frustrated. It reminds us that what comes out of our mouths reflects what's happening in our hearts, and that we need God's help to transform both.
