Romans 14:26

What does Romans 14:26 mean?
This doxology, or hymn of praise, is Paul's way of bringing his letter to a close by directing all honor and worship upward. He's acknowledging that genuine wisdom doesn't come from human cleverness or our ability to judge one another, but from God alone, and that all paths to God flow through Jesus Christ. When Paul says this praise belongs to God "forever," he's reminding us that God's character and purposes don't shift with time or circumstances, even when our own lives feel uncertain. It's an invitation to let go of our need to have all the answers and instead rest in the trustworthiness of the one who does.
