Romans 1:11
“For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established;”
What does Romans 1:11 mean?
Paul is expressing a deep desire to visit the Roman church, not because he wants attention or status, but because he genuinely wants to strengthen their faith. He sees himself as carrying spiritual gifts (like wisdom, encouragement, or discernment) that he believes God has given him to share with others. His longing shows that real spiritual leadership is about serving others' growth, not advancing yourself. When Paul says he wants them to be "established," he means rooted and solid in their faith, able to weather whatever challenges come their way.
