Revelation 3:8
““I know your works (behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut), that you have a little power, and kept my word, and didn’t deny my name.”
What does Revelation 3:8 mean?
Jesus is speaking to the church in Philadelphia, encouraging them even though they feel weak and small. He's telling them that their faithfulness matters far more than their circumstances, and that he's already placed genuine opportunities before them that no opposing force can block. The "open door" represents real chances to do his work and share his message, not some distant promise but something already available to them now. Even with limited resources and influence, their choice to hold onto his teachings and stay true to him is exactly what counts.
