“He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I come quickly.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus.”
What does Revelation 22:20 mean?
Jesus is promising that he will return, and John responds with eager longing, saying "Come, Lord Jesus." This wasn't meant to be a distant hope for some far-off future, but an immediate and vital encouragement for early Christians facing persecution and hardship.
