“These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings, and those who are with him are called chosen and faithful.””
What does Revelation 17:14 mean?
The forces opposing God may seem powerful and threatening, but this verse reminds us they're ultimately fighting a battle already won. Jesus, called here the Lamb, holds supreme authority over all earthly powers and rulers, no matter how they flex their strength. Those who stand with him, described as chosen and faithful, share in that victory even when circumstances around them feel uncertain or dark. The promise isn't that conflict disappears, but that God's character and purposes cannot be defeated, and those who trust him are on the winning side.
