Psalms 7:3
“Yahweh, my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity in my hands,”
What does Psalms 7:3 mean?
The psalmist is calling out to God with radical honesty, essentially saying, "Lord, if I've actually done wrong here, if my hands are guilty of something, then look at me." This is someone in distress, likely facing false accusation or crisis, who's willing to be examined by God himself rather than defend their reputation before people. There's both vulnerability and confidence here: vulnerability in admitting the possibility of guilt, and confidence that God sees the truth that others might miss.
