Psalms 44:9
“But now you rejected us, and brought us to dishonor, and don’t go out with our armies.”
What does Psalms 44:9 mean?
The psalmist is crying out in raw pain, expressing what feels like God's abandonment during a time of military defeat or national crisis. When the community looked for God's presence and protection in battle, they found silence instead, and now they're facing humiliation and loss.
