Psalms 44:10
“You make us turn back from the adversary. Those who hate us take plunder for themselves.”
What does Psalms 44:10 mean?
When the psalmist wrote these words, Israel was experiencing a military defeat, and he was wrestling honestly with God about it. He's saying that God allowed them to retreat from their enemies, and as a result, those enemies got to take their possessions and victory.
