Psalms 43:1
“Vindicate me, God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from deceitful and wicked men.”
What does Psalms 43:1 mean?
The psalmist is calling out to God as a judge who will defend him against enemies who are treating him unjustly. When he asks God to "vindicate" him, he's asking for God to prove his innocence and set things right, much like appealing to a fair court when you've been wronged. He's naming his accusers as ungodly and deceitful because they're using lies and manipulation against him.
