What does Psalms 39:6 mean?
We spend so much energy building things up, making plans, and accumulating possessions, yet it all feels oddly insubstantial when we step back and really look at it. The psalmist is capturing that unsettling recognition that our lives pass quickly and our efforts often benefit people we'll never even know, especially whatever we leave behind after we're gone.
