What does Psalms 39:3 mean?
The psalmist is describing what happens when you hold your feelings inside: the pressure builds. As he thinks about his troubles and keeps them bottled up, the emotional intensity grows until he simply has to speak. It's an honest picture of how silence and reflection can sometimes intensify our inner turmoil rather than resolve it, pushing us toward finally breaking our quiet and sharing what's on our heart. Many of us recognize this feeling, especially when we're wrestling with deep pain or confusion and trying to stay composed.
