Psalms 29:2
“Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Worship Yahweh in holy array.”
What does Psalms 29:2 mean?
When we give God the honor and recognition he deserves, we're acknowledging both who he is and what he's done. The psalm invites us to approach this worship with reverence and respect, like showing up with genuine care rather than carelessness. "Holy array" doesn't necessarily mean fancy clothes, but rather a posture of the heart that takes seriously the presence of the holy God. Whether we're in a sanctuary, at home, or anywhere else, we're invited to bring our whole selves to worship with sincerity and awe.
