What does Psalms 137:1 mean?
When Judah's people were taken into exile in Babylon, they found themselves far from home, from the Temple, and from everything that made them who they were. This verse captures that raw heartbreak, the way grief crashes over you when you're surrounded by unfamiliar places and suddenly remember what you've lost.
