Psalms 119:29
“Keep me from the way of deceit. Grant me your law graciously!”
What does Psalms 119:29 mean?
The psalmist is asking God for two connected gifts: protection from living dishonestly and the strength to follow God's teaching instead. There's a real acknowledgment here that deceit is a *way*, a whole direction we can drift into, so the prayer isn't just "don't let me tell one lie" but "keep me from that entire path."
