What does Psalms 119:103 mean?

The psalmist is describing what happens when we really take God's words into ourselves, not just read them but let them shape us. Like honey melting on your tongue, God's promises bring real comfort and joy to someone who's paying attention, especially in hard moments. This isn't pretend sweetness or wishful thinking, but the genuine relief and hope that comes when you discover God actually keeps what he says. That taste of trustworthiness, that flavor of being cared for, becomes something you crave and return to again and again.
