What does Psalms 119:102 mean?

The psalmist is saying that staying faithful to God's ways hasn't felt like a burden because God himself has been the teacher making it all make sense. When you genuinely learn something, when it becomes part of how you understand the world, following it becomes natural rather than forced. This is the difference between obedience that feels like duty and obedience that flows from real understanding and relationship. The writer is describing something many people discover: that when we let God teach us, when we're open to his guidance over time, we find ourselves choosing his way not out of obligation but because we've come to see its wisdom.
