What does Psalms 11:4 mean?

God's attention is both vast and intimate, seeing the whole world from his throne while also noticing each person's heart and actions. The psalmist is reassuring us that nothing escapes God's awareness, no matter how hidden or small it may seem. This can bring comfort when we feel unseen in our struggles, or it can call us to live with integrity, knowing we're never beyond God's notice. The image of God "observing" and "examining" suggests not harsh judgment but rather the care of someone who knows us completely and cares about what we're going through.
