Psalms 107:13
“Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.”
What does Psalms 107:13 mean?
When people hit bottom, crying out becomes their most honest language. This psalm describes a pattern that shows up again and again in real life: we face troubles we can't solve alone, we finally stop pretending we're fine and call out for help, and then deliverance comes. The "saved from distresses" doesn't necessarily mean everything magically fixes itself, but that we're brought through the hard thing and given what we actually need to survive it. The beautiful thing here is that there's no guilt attached to the crying out. No one has to clean themselves up first or prove they deserve help. In the middle of the mess, when you're at your limit, that's exactly when this kind of reaching out matters most.
