Psalms 102:10
“Because of your indignation and your wrath, for you have taken me up, and thrown me away.”
What does Psalms 102:10 mean?
The psalmist is expressing the raw pain of feeling abandoned by God, describing it as though God has picked him up and discarded him like something worthless. This person is in deep distress, possibly illness or exile, and in his anguish he's attributing his suffering directly to God's anger toward him. Rather than softening his complaint with polite language, he speaks with brutal honesty about how rejected and cast off he feels.
