Psalms 101:6
βMy eyes will be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he will serve me.β
What does Psalms 101:6 mean?
The psalmist is describing what kind of people he wants in his inner circle and household, declaring that he'll give his attention and trust to those who live with integrity. "Perfect way" here doesn't mean flawless perfection, but rather wholehearted devotion and consistency in character. It's a promise that when we show up as genuine and reliable, we become people others want to have close to them, and more importantly, people God wants close to him. This speaks to the quiet dignity of simply living faithfully, even when no one's watching.
