Numbers 33:8
“They traveled from before Hahiroth, and crossed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness. They went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.”
What does Numbers 33:8 mean?
After escaping Egypt, the Israelites found themselves facing an impossible situation: the sea blocked their path while Pharaoh's army closed in behind them. God parted the waters so they could cross on dry ground, and when the Egyptian forces tried to follow, the sea collapsed and destroyed them. This moment of deliverance was both thrilling and terrifying, the kind of thing that would reshape how people understood God's power forever.
