What does Numbers 16:25 mean?

When a community is fracturing, sometimes the leader has to walk directly into the conflict. Moses rose from his tent and went to face Dathan and Abiram, who had publicly rejected his authority, and the elders came with him. This wasn't about confrontation for its own sake, but about addressing a real rupture that threatened the entire community's survival in the wilderness. What's striking is that the elders followed. They could have stayed neutral or sided with the rebels, but they chose to walk with Moses toward the problem rather than away from it. It reminds us that leadership often means moving toward difficulty with witnesses present, and that people are watching to see whether leaders will actually stand by their convictions when things get hard.
