What does Numbers 16:11 mean?
Korah and his followers are challenging Moses and Aaron's authority, claiming they deserve leadership roles too. Moses responds by reframing their complaint: they're not just disagreeing with human decisions, they're actually rebelling against God's own chosen arrangement. When we grumble against those God has placed in leadership over us, we're essentially saying we don't trust God's judgment. This doesn't mean leaders are always right, but it reminds us that our real struggle is often with God himself, not the person standing in front of us.
