What does Numbers 13:6 mean?

This simple line introduces us to Caleb, one of twelve scouts sent to explore the promised land. While most of the scouts returned with a fearful report that discouraged the whole community, Caleb stood apart, urging the people to trust God and enter the land despite its difficulties. His name appears here almost quietly, but his faithfulness would later stand out as remarkable, especially when everyone else doubted. Sometimes the people who change history aren't announced with fanfare, but simply show up and choose courage when it matters most.
