Matthew 7:20
“Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”
What does Matthew 7:20 mean?
Jesus is saying that you can tell what someone is really like by looking at how they actually live and what they produce in the world, not just by their words or claims. If someone says they're trustworthy but constantly hurts people, or claims to follow Jesus but shows no love or kindness, their true character shows through their actions. This applies to spiritual teachers, leaders, and anyone trying to influence you: pay attention to the real-world results of what they teach and how they treat others.
