What does Matthew 26:75 mean?
Peter had just done exactly what Jesus predicted, denying even knowing him three times in the span of a few hours. When he hears the rooster crow, everything hits him at once: Jesus's words come flooding back, and Peter realizes he failed the person he loved most, right when Jesus needed him.
