“But I tell you that I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father’s Kingdom.””
What does Matthew 26:29 mean?
Jesus is speaking at his final meal with the disciples, knowing he's about to face his arrest and death. He's saying he won't drink wine again until he celebrates in God's Kingdom, and he's inviting his followers to join him there.
