Matthew 25:45

What does Matthew 25:45 mean?
This is Jesus speaking about the final judgment, explaining why some will be separated from his presence. He's saying that when we ignore or neglect people who are suffering, hungry, sick, or lonely, we're essentially rejecting him. It's a stunning claim: the way we treat the vulnerable and overlooked directly reflects how we relate to Jesus himself. This doesn't mean we earn salvation through good works, but rather that genuine faith naturally expresses itself in compassion toward those who have nothing to offer us in return. The challenge here is intensely personal, meant to wake us up to how our everyday choices to help or ignore someone in need matter more than we might realize.
