What does Matthew 25:15 mean?
In this parable, a master distributes money (talents) to his servants before traveling away, giving different amounts based on what each person can realistically handle. The point isn't fairness in the sense of equal shares, but rather trust: the master knows his servants' strengths and weaknesses, and he invests accordingly. Each person receives enough to do meaningful work with what they've been given. This setup creates the tension of the whole parable: the master is about to be gone for a long time, and what matters is what each servant does with their portion.
