What does Matthew 14:18 mean?

Jesus speaks these simple words after the disciples tell him they have only five loaves and two fish to feed a crowd of thousands. Instead of dismissing their meager offering as useless, he asks them to bring it to him, treating what they have as worthy of his attention. This moment teaches us that when we offer what little we have, God can work with it in ways we never imagined, transforming it into far more than we could accomplish alone. It's an invitation to trust that our small contributions, placed in Jesus's hands, matter and can become part of something miraculous.
