Matthew 12:13

Then he told the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out; and it was restored whole, just like the other.

What does Matthew 12:13 mean?

A man with a withered hand comes to Jesus in the synagogue, and Jesus simply tells him to stretch it out. The moment he obeys, his hand is completely healed, as healthy and whole as his other one. What makes this so striking is the simplicity of it: Jesus doesn't perform a dramatic ritual or even touch the man. He gives a command that seems almost impossible to obey, yet as the man acts in faith, he experiences complete restoration. It's a gentle reminder that healing often begins when we take the step we're called to take, even when we're uncertain, and that Jesus has power over what seems broken or impossible in our lives.
