Mark 8:2
““I have compassion on the multitude, because they have stayed with me now three days, and have nothing to eat.”
What does Mark 8:2 mean?
Jesus is noticing something real and tender here: people have been following him for three days, completely absorbed in listening and learning, and they've forgotten to eat. Rather than dismiss their hunger or see it as their own problem to solve, he feels genuine concern for their physical welfare. He recognizes that their dedication to being with him has left them vulnerable and depleted. This moment shows us that Jesus cares about the whole person, not just the spiritual part.
