What does Mark 7:13 mean?

Jesus is calling out religious leaders who have become so attached to their own rules and customs that they've essentially canceled out what God actually says. Their traditions, passed down through generations and treated as sacred, have become a substitute for God's real commands, sometimes even contradicting them. He's pointing out that this isn't a one-time problem but a pattern, a habit of letting human interpretation overtake divine truth. It's a gentle but firm reminder that no matter how old or respected a practice is, it shouldn't crowd out what God genuinely wants from us.
