What does Mark 2:10 mean?

Jesus said this to prove something crucial: that he wasn't just speaking about forgiveness in theory, but that he actually had the power to grant it. He was responding to religious leaders who thought only God could forgive sins, and by healing the paralyzed man right then and there, he was demonstrating that his authority to forgive was real and rooted in who he truly was. It's an invitation to see that when Jesus offers forgiveness, it comes with the full weight of divine power behind it, not just kind words.
