What does Mark 15:41 mean?

These were the faithful women who had walked alongside Jesus throughout his ministry in Galilee, showing their devotion through practical service. Mark is pointing out that their commitment didn't end when things got difficult, but they traveled all the way to Jerusalem with him. Their presence during his crucifixion, when most of the male disciples had scattered, reveals a tender reality: sometimes the deepest faithfulness shows up quietly, in the background, without fanfare or recognition. This moment reminds us that dedication to Jesus took many forms, and these women's steady presence mattered.
