What does Mark 14:70 mean?
Peter is being confronted a second time about knowing Jesus, and his accent has given him away. The people around the fire recognize he's from Galilee, the region where Jesus taught and gathered his followers, and his way of speaking makes it obvious. This moment captures how fear can make us deny what matters most, even when the evidence of our connection to Jesus is written all over us.
