Mark 14:6
“But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for me.”
What does Mark 14:6 mean?
A woman had just poured expensive perfume over Jesus' head, and his disciples were upset, thinking it was wasteful. Jesus' response tells us something important about how he sees acts of love and devotion. He wasn't concerned with efficiency or practicality, but with her heart and what she was trying to express. When we do something kind or generous out of genuine love, Jesus notices and values it, even when others around us might question whether it makes sense.
