What does Mark 14:16 mean?

The disciples go into Jerusalem to get everything ready for their Passover meal, just as Jesus had instructed them earlier in a way they didn't fully understand at first. What's striking here is how the disciples trust Jesus enough to follow through on his directions, even though his words about where to find a certain man with a pitcher of water must have sounded cryptic and strange. By the time they arrive and see exactly what Jesus described, it becomes clear that he knows what's coming and has everything arranged. This small moment of their faithfulness in preparation sets the stage for the meal where Jesus will redefine Passover's meaning for all of history.
