What does Mark 14:15 mean?
In this moment, Jesus is sending two disciples ahead to prepare for the Passover meal. The "large upper room furnished and ready" is a gift of hospitality that God has already arranged, though the disciples don't yet know exactly where it will be. Jesus is telling them to trust that when they arrive in Jerusalem, they'll find exactly what they need waiting for them. There's something deeply comforting in this detail.
