What does Luke 7:34 mean?
Jesus is describing how his critics attack him for living differently than John the Baptist did. While John was known for fasting and living ascetically in the wilderness, Jesus moves freely through communities, sharing meals and fellowship with all kinds of people, including those considered "unclean" or morally suspect by religious authorities.
