What does Luke 6:22 mean?
Jesus is describing a kind of blessing that looks nothing like comfort or ease in the moment. When people reject you, isolate you, or make you a target because of your faith, he says you're actually in a position of spiritual privilege. This doesn't mean the pain isn't real, only that there's something more happening beneath the surface than what you can see right now. When you choose faith over approval, you're aligning yourself with something eternal that outlasts any temporary rejection, insult, or social exile.
