What does Luke 3:10 mean?
When John the Baptist was calling people to repentance and baptism, his words stirred something in the crowds. They weren't asking for abstract theology, they were asking the practical question that matters most: "Now what?" How do we actually live differently? This is the question that arises whenever we encounter genuine truth about our own lives, whether it comes through conviction, grief, or a moment of clarity about how we've been living. What's beautiful here is that people felt safe enough to ask. John had been speaking hard truths about judgment and transformation, yet the crowds came forward wanting to know the next step instead of walking away defensive or ashamed. Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is ask God, our faith community, or our own hearts: "What do I need to change?" That honest question opens the door for real transformation.
