What does Luke 24:9 mean?

The women who had discovered Jesus' empty tomb were so moved by what they'd witnessed that they immediately went to find his disciples and shared the news. They didn't keep this extraordinary experience to themselves, but spread word to the eleven apostles and everyone else who was gathered with them, likely in Jerusalem where Jesus' followers had gone after his crucifixion. This verse captures that first urgent impulse to tell others about resurrection, the foundation of Christian faith. It reminds us that encountering something life-changing naturally moves us to share it with those we care about.
