What does Luke 24:10 mean?
These women were the first witnesses to Jesus' resurrection, which made their testimony historically significant in a culture where women's legal testimony carried less weight in court. They had come to the tomb early in the morning to anoint Jesus' body with spices, a gesture of love and respect, only to encounter the risen Christ.
