What does Luke 2:17 mean?
The shepherds had just witnessed something extraordinary: angels announcing that the promised Messiah had been born in Bethlehem. Luke tells us they didn't keep this news to themselves but spread it everywhere they went. Their excitement and conviction were so genuine that they felt compelled to tell others what they'd heard and seen.
