What does Luke 17:13 mean?
These were ten people with leprosy calling out to Jesus from a distance, unable to approach him openly because of their disease. They used "Master" as a title of respect, and their cry for mercy came from genuine desperation—leprosy meant isolation, loss of livelihood, and separation from community and worship.
